IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Post-film. In order to bring her aboard, the explanation I've gone with is that she was stabbed to death in a prison fight she started.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Mercedes is a 19-year old white woman with grey eyes and blonde hair that falls slightly past her shoulders, which may be styled either straight or wavy at any given time. She stands 5'6" tall and has a chubby, curvy build. Her facial features are soft and gentle, in sharp contrast to her attitude. In terms of clothing, her style is simple but fitted and feminine, and typically features pieces which are light in color: sundresses, short-sleeved blouses with jeans, cardigans, etc. She's nearly always wearing a thin headband, a small gold heart necklace, and a black and gold watch on her right wrist. In addition, it's conceivable that characters from the appropriate time period and setting might mistake her for Meghan Trainor. Try it and see what happens!
•DEMEANOR: Mercedes is the queen of Resting Bitch Face and says nearly everything with the same vaguely sarcastic inflection. The way she speaks makes it next to impossible to be sure if what she says is honest or mocking. She's prone to coming up with snarky little digs designed to get under the skin of people who irritate her (just existing in her vicinity is reason enough, sometimes).
•ABILITIES: She's intelligent, clever and highly cunning. Skill with firearms, a knack for high-speed car chases, the ability to sneak into places like she belongs there, and an unexpected talent for fist-fighting round out the list. She also speaks a little Swedish.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: She's a standard human and doesn't have any medical conditions. She takes oral birth control.
•CABIN INFORMATION: Identical to the dorm room she shared with Maya Dickson. Maya's possessions are entirely gone, but all college-provided accoutrements remain intact. For example: the mattress and bed frame Maya slept on are still there, but her bedding is not.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: She strikes an odd balance between "nothing would offend her" and "some things could offend her, depending on her mood." Whether she's genuinely offended or not, however, is something others will probably never know for sure. That's thanks to a mix of constant sarcasm and reduced affect display.
